April Faves

As April has now left us, scarily, and may has arrived i thought it fitting to post 'April Faves'. I have a few for this month as i have been in the middle of still trialing new products, here are mine! Tweet me yours @lndgirlblogging

Hair accessories, mainly big fun bows, the pink one is from Forever 21 (£2.50), the gold sequinned one is from Topshop (£5.00) and the Peach and glitter butterfly clips are from Forever 21 as well (£1.50). I've been loving wearing these with my hair down in loose curls.
New nail obsession is Essie 'Splash of Grenadine'. I picked this up in Superdrug for £7.99. This has just made my week, month, year. I'm just in love  with it, simple as. It is so pigmented the colour is so strong, i have two coats on just because i like my nail varnish to be quite thick, and just topped of with a clear coat from Miss Sporty, its going strong chip wise so far! Two thumbs up!
I love all the Johnson's skin care range. I personally enjoy using wipes to remove my make up and these i can not fault, they get everything off including waterproof mascara as well as being super moisturising, they are super big wipes so that can be used all over the face. These were £2.50 from Superdrug.
To go with my cute hair accessories, i have been using my Vidal Sassoon curling wand, i'm not sure which one this is as it was a present, but i love it. It has a variable heat setting, and warms up super quick. It creates either loose waves & curls or tight ones as well. I like to set and secure my hair with the L'Oreal Elnett Satin 'So Sleek' (what a mouthful!) hair spray, this holds nicely without causing the hair to go crunchy and can be brushed out easily as well.
And finally, non-beauty related is my Contact lenses. This month i started back using them again, and I'm so glad i did, i love them! I got mine from Specsavers and i pay £18 a month for 30 pairs but there are various types of price plans you can choose to suit you and your eye's needs. If you've been thinking about trying out lenses i would 100% recommend heading down to your local Specsavers and having a chat and possibly trying out the trial period lenses!
