Autumn wonders

As Autumn is fast approaching i thought it was time to dish out the golden leafy coloured nail polishes and the  brown leather boots and all the rest that goes along with it. Over the next few days i'll be sharing with you all my Autumn faves and what i think is a must for the coming months, before it really gets chilly and you need to bust out the ear muffs and mittens - but that is for another blog.

As nail varnish is a must for me. A pet peeve of mine is un-painted nails and worst, chipped nails. However if your interest in long lasting high quality nails for this season, i would seriously recommend Bio-Gels, although a little pricey ranging from £30-35, they do last from 3-4 weeks and always look lovely. They come in many different colours, as well as glitters which i have had done before a look amazing.

My go to place is Belles and Beaus, in Essex, for those of you who have been living under a rock it is owned by TOWIE star Billi Mucklow.

Although if not up for a big spend up for your nails, i've found two of the leafy gold colour i think sit perfect on your fingers for this time of year, granted one is a glitter but still, anything with glitter is twice as good and double the fun!

Rimmel London's PRO professional lasting finish
It claims it last up to 10 days, as much as i love the rose gold colour (shade number 378 Posh Trash) and the shimmer it has to it, i will stand proud and say the bottle LIES! YES, i have had to touch up my nails if not everyday to keep the colour on, and this is with two coats and a top coat. Despite this i do still love the colour and sit there everyday touching it up.

It can be purchaser in store or online from Superdrug for £4.59 (online price)

O.P.I  Nail Lacquer - Bring On The Bling

I am a big glitter fan, if it glitters i'm all for it, and i am all for this nail varnish as well by O.P.I. I'm a big fan of how you can apply it quite heavy as well as a thin coat and either/or look just as great. As well different to most gold glitters it almost has a dark brownish undertone which i think gives it a really lovely mature look, but still working hand in hand with the young fun glitter aspect.

However one downfall that i have found with all my glitter polishes is that they do tend to go gloopy, i would recommend keeping them in the fridge this tends to help with this problem.

Apart from that i love these two colours safe to say they go with pretty much anything and are fun and perfect for the season right now!

Although i cant find this product exactly online you can be many simmilar also O.P.I from Beauty Bay.

As Sunday's go, I like to take them pretty easy, and today I did myself pretty darn proud so I spent my day watching my guilty pleasure.

Sky 2, essentially had a Modern Family marathon. For those of you who don't know Modern Family is an American TV comedy series based around one family and the 3 smaller family's they divide into and their day to day issues they face. To say its funny, an understatement, I love it, not being biased or anything. As well as my own personal opinions they four Emmy awards they picked up in September.

As well check out Sofia Vergara on the cover of this months Glamour (UK edition) - Sophia plays Gloria in Moderen Family btw guys!

So yes, I sat for a good 5 hours and watch until my eyes turned square! If any of you have seen or watched modern family let me know what you think!

The First....

As a fresh faced first year student at University studying journalism, i thought what better way to get a head start on the craft than writing. As to many, social media is now a full force at which we and the media world is moving with.

Although this is my first blog, and i may have little experience i hope i can enchant you all with my words and information i intend to share with you. Admitted,  it would not always be mind trilling, but light reads are normally the ones most people enjoy. Varying from my day to day experience to a new blusher i picked up or a something interesting i saw of found on the internet. I hope you all enjoy and get something out of my writing, and i can as well gain something back from it in return.

much love.
